EXPERIENCE

I've been a reporter for all beats: News, Arts, Technology, Science and Crime. As the Sports Editor at the student newspaper, The Omega, I managed and mentored student contributors. I wrote features on: referee abuse, affects of concussions in youth sport, and a snowboarder's survival story. Additionally, I reported for a Kamloops radio station, CFBX, and volunteered at CBC Radio. I sought my own stories and used audio editing software to perfect my segments for radio. E-LEARNING DEVELOPMENT

As an eLearning Developer at SkillQ, I authored training courses for corporations using Adobe software. I edited scripts and storyboards during the design phase and operated the camera during video production. During post-production, I edited video and processed audio. To develop the course, I used Adobe Captivate to assemble the various media assets and author the assessment. I configured the course in the client’s LMS and assigned learners. Finally, I conducted Quality Assurance testing to ensure the deliverable was ready for deployment.

Additionally, I assisted with project management, social media, web/graphic design and internal training.
